Broncos Stockings

Remember when I posted about the Broncos Tree Skirt? Well I couldn't help myself, I had to make matching stockings to go with it. I love how they turned out and they were pretty easy to make, with my grandma telling me what to do :) Thanks Grandma! Anyway my sis & bro in law love them and me personally, they would look much better in Colts material!!

Neighbor Gift Idea

I needed a super cheap neighbor gift this year and I found it!
I picked up the wrapping paper in a 3 pack for $1 and a 3 pack of tape for $1.
Add some scrapbook paper from my stash and you have a fun gift idea!

The tag reads:

Since November you've been shopping,
barely sleeping, hardly stopping.
Now it's late you're in a scrape, out of paper, out of tape.
Hope this wrap helps save the day!
Have a Happy Holiday!

Total cost? .66 a piece!! You can't beat that!

I have made this saying into a free printable for you, I hope that it works, I have never done this before!
To save the saying right click on the image and click "save image as".
This one will print at 4x6

Tree Skirt

When I saw what the Create With Me project over on Ucreate was I was so excited!! I was planning on making my sister stockings for Christmas anyway and now I had an awesome tutorial to use. So I ordered my fabric and was all ready to make them and then I changed my mind and made the tree skirt instead!! Let me just tell you, it was SUPER EASY!! It only took me about 2 hours to make and that was with interruptions.

My Brother In Law is a huge Broncos fan and he somehow convinced my sis to decorate their tree in Broncos colors so I knew this was going to be a hit! I of course had to give it to them early so that they could use it this year.
I really planned on taking a picture of it under the tree but I forgot my camera, just imagine that there is a tree there :)

Now I just need to finish mine, before Christmas hopefully!

Christmas Cards All Ready?

We just had our family pictures taken, and they turned out great!! With the cold weather rapidly approaching I have had Christmas on my mind, and with that comes Christmas Cards! Last year I got so busy that I did not send cards out, I was so sad, I love looking at all the adorable cards we can pick from and Shutterfly does not disappoint!! I love their products, they are high quality and they have excellent customer service!! I don't know how I am going to choose just one!
I am not planning on having a Christmas party but these super cute invitations just might change my mind!
I am loving this Polka Dot Invite
Simple but yet still adorable! See this one Here.

 Who doesn't love Snowmen?
When picking a card I always am drawn to the ones that have space for a lot of pictures! I have such a hard time choosing just one picture so I love having the option to put more than one!
I love the classic look of this one!
This one just makes me happy!
My personal favorite is this one! I am loving the non-traditional colors!! See it here.
I hope that you will head on over to Shutterfly and look at all of the gorgeous cards they have on their site!

In exchange for doing this blog post I am receiving 50 free cards, but the opinions expressed are honest and true.

Halloween Goodies

Each month I am in charge of a nursery at my church and this is the activity that we did for the month of October. I love how it turned out and the kids had so much fun making them.
This card was over at The Dating Diva's  and I knew that I had to make it for my hubby and little man! I will admit I couldn't stop making them, super easy!! I now have a nice stash of mummy cards :)
I saw these adorable guys over at Jean's Crafty Corner and loved them! I made a few for little man to give to his friends for Halloween, they were so much fun to make!
After cutting out all my pumpkin men on the Mini Monsters Cartridge (which I love, everything on there is to dang cute!) I was looking at the back and saw these adorable 3-D boxes and decided I was going to put them together just for fun, well I couldn't stop and ended up making all 3! I plan on filling them with goodies for the ladies that I visit teach.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

I originally saw this idea over at Craftaholics Anonymous and I loved it! So I stashed it in my "To Do" file and knew that it would be perfect for my niece's 3rd birthday. It was so easy and pretty fast and I love how it turned out.
I also included a copy of the book and it was all packaged in a container for easy storage.
To get the template for my food I just googled the food and printed it out full size. I backed all the pieces with denim and used spray adhesive to attach it.

I had to make my caterpillar a girl, I couldn't resist (she even has pink sparkly lipstick on!!)
I have a few more pictures (like the butterfly) that I need to add but my laptop is not want to cooperate right now so I will get them up as soon as I can. I hope that the birthday girl liked it, I had fun making it!

Four Year Anniversary

We celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 19th (really? that went fast!) I had such a fun time planning this and I was totally inspired  by The Dating Diva's, if you havn't checked out there blog you need to, it is amazing! They have two great posts for 4th anniversarys you can find them here & here, I took inspiration from both of these.

All of this was a total surprise to my husband. I can't believe I was able to keep it a secret ( I get really excited about surprises!) I started out by giving him this Chinese takeout box that had 4 fortune cookies in it. The fortunes were pretty generic, I didn't want to give to much away with this part. I had him open each cookie with an envelope that had a clue about the day in it.

He was so confused when he read this and started asking all kinds of questions about if the little man was coming, who was babysitting, what he needed to bring, it was pretty funny. Of course I had everything packed and babysitters arranged :)
Our drive took us to the gas station, romantic huh? No? Well it was planned, after we filled up and got some treats for the drive I had him open the next cookie and envelope #2.
Envelope #2 took us Go-Kart Racing! I wanted to make sure that we did something we had never done before and this was SO much fun!! Not to mention that I totally kicked butt and won!! When we were done racing he got to open the next cookie and envelope #3.

How do you like that cheesy saying? I was having a major case of mommy brain and could not think of anything! Oh well, the hubby didn't care when he found out we were going to his favorite place on earth, Texas Roadhouse! It was delicious as always and we were stuffed. After we finished eating I let him open the final cookie along with envelope #4.

This one was hilarious! After he read it he looked at me and said what does this mean, we all ready had a awesome night! This is when I told him the BIG surprise, we were going to Park City for the night. He could not believe it and kept asking me if it was a joke!! He was so shocked and it was just the reaction that I was hoping for!
Once we got to Park City I had the game Connect Four and the movie Fantastic Four.

The next morning we went up to the Utah Olympic Park and watched Team Austrilia practice the ski jump. We stayed there for almost 2 hours, it was so fun!
We definately had an awesome anniversary and I know that my Husband loved it!!

We did the above part of our anniversary a little early due to the husband's work schedule so this is what I gave him on our actual anniversary.
This idea came from Love, Actually (another great blog!)
And the final gift for my wonderful husband was this candy gram that I saw over on

I love you babe and I really am the luckiest girl in the WORLD!!

Wedding Present- A month Late

I am a really bad sister!! I just barely finished my sister's wedding gift and she got married a month ago!! I am sure she will forgive me. I actually saw this idea somewhere on a blog a few months ago but I did not bookmark it so if anyone knows where this idea orginally came from please let me know so I can give proper credit. I don't have step by step pictures because I was so excited to finish it I forgot but it's so simple!

I got 2 frames from the DI for .25 cents a piece and spray painted them red when that was dry I used some gorilla glue to put the two frames together. I then took my polka dot ribbon and hot glued it on and added a bow. Last insert your announcments and your done! Super simple!!
