Neighbor Gift Idea

I needed a super cheap neighbor gift this year and I found it!
I picked up the wrapping paper in a 3 pack for $1 and a 3 pack of tape for $1.
Add some scrapbook paper from my stash and you have a fun gift idea!

The tag reads:

Since November you've been shopping,
barely sleeping, hardly stopping.
Now it's late you're in a scrape, out of paper, out of tape.
Hope this wrap helps save the day!
Have a Happy Holiday!

Total cost? .66 a piece!! You can't beat that!

I have made this saying into a free printable for you, I hope that it works, I have never done this before!
To save the saying right click on the image and click "save image as".
This one will print at 4x6

This one will print at 4x4

  8. This is a great idea. If you wanted to do doubly good - spend a little more and buy the wrapping paper from the young neighbor selling wrapping paper for his school fundraiser. Love the poem. Way cute idea!

  18. I did this for some coworkers this year. Kicked it up a notch by adding Christmas-themed scissors, pen, and decorative sticky notes along with tape. Put in a cellophane bag and tied to the gift wrap with pretty ribbons. It seemed to be a hit! Thanks!

  32. Love the idea, and I'm all for being frugal but if it's for the teacher I would suggest GOOD tape- Dollar store tape is awful! and one of those nice thick rolls of paper that doesn't rip when you breathe on it. I love the idea and I loved the comment that suggested going to Target after Christmas when the paper is on sale/ clearance. I was a teacher for over a decade and would totally have enjoyed this type of gift.
